So I was playing Metroid Prime and Ridley beat me because Samus was not using the wavebuster because she's a moron. I updated my facebook status and it said "FUCKING FUCK SAMUS USE THE FUCKING WAVEBUSTER WHEN I FUCKING TELL YOU TO YOU DUMB FUCK." Yeah, I was really mad. :/ Ridley only had a sliver of health left and he tackled me five times in a row and killed me in like five seconds. It was infuriating.

And then mom sends me a text.

MOM: STOP with the F***ing cursing on Facebook. You make yourself look VERY VERY STUPID!!!!!

ME: I DO WHAT I WANT

I kinda feel like a dick now because I basically just treated my mother like the sort of person featured on a wank comm, but seriously. I have a sailor mouth when I am not in the presence of my family. I have told her this. I have said to her that I curse on my online journals and all that and she said, "Oh, who cares, I curse, too." And really, mom, you pestered me for weeks to accept your friend request, and I relented. If you are so bothered by my occasional profane statuses, I will defriend you if you want. Jeez.

Also, I am only friends with one of the teachers from my high school it's not like I will be talked about in the faculty room.

Anyway, I beat Ridley on my second try and only died once against Metroid Prime as well. :3 And I got 100%! Next playthrough will be a low-percent run, and then I'll try speed runs after that.

In Ancient Greek today, class was awesome as usual and we were translating shit and going over the second aorist and all that. Then I noticed something sticking out of Professor Smith's pocket. I couldn't tell what it was. It was flesh colored, though, so I thought maybe a gag rubber finger. But why would he have that? Then he turned a certain way and I swear it looked like a penis and I was all "Wtf a gag rubber penis? AAAUGH WHY WOULD HE HAVE THAT?" I could not think of anything that would warrant him having that. I was like, "Maybe he taught one of his LGBT classes before this? NO WHY WOULD HE NEED IT FOR THAT, THAT STILL DOES NOT EXPLAIN IIIIT" and then he turned another way and it looked like it had legs. So my mind is exploding until Natalie says cheerfully, "Hey, you have a pig in your pocket!"

And he pulled it out of his pocket. It was a pig keychain that has a button that makes its' snout light up.

I wanted to headdesk so hard.

I also want to know why I keep passing eye exams when it's obvious that I cannot see shit.

And in Art History, our Professor ran in, put in a video, told us he had to monitor some event and couldn't stay, told us not to leave or else he'd prosecute and kill us (it was more lulzy than I'm making it sound, honest), and ran off. Said he'd be back in 35 minutes. Most boring vid everrr. Something about Mesopotamia, idk. Doodled the whole time. When it was over, watched HI I'M THE DEKU SPROUT and listened to Patrick Swayze Christmas on my ipod and doodled some more while waiting for the prof. to get back. Aaand he never did come back so we all left, haha.

In other news, purchased an art commission today! I'm very excited to see the results. :3 Also I am nearly done with Metroid Prime, just gotta finish the scans and collect the rest of the artifacts and expansions. Fun times!

Also, I resumed my second playthrough of Metroid Prime last week and I just... did... something. Oh, yeah. Plasma beam. Omega Pirate is next. :( And I am getting 100% I swear I am. I have a checklist for missiles, energy tanks, and power bombs. I'm doing the scans on my own, though. Luckily I'm a paranoid scanner, haha.

Mm. Feel kinda crappy. Maybe I'll do my homework in a couple of minutes and make some tea and get to bed early. I went to bed later than I wanted last night and I slept badly and I've been out of it all day.

Oh, and my laptop charger is broken or something, I have to apply pressure to it to get it to charge and sometimes even that doesn't work (like right now). I ordered a new one on Sunday. I hope it comes in soon, I really need it.

Ok, so, I bought METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SUBSISTENCE yesterday. 'Cause girlyarm recently got it and showed me how awesome it is.

IT IS SO AWESOME. Except that I have issues with the controls so instead of it being Snake going on stealth missions, it's more like Snake going on knifing-Soviets-in-the-knee missions. I got a bit better by time I got up to Sokolov though, thank goodness. I actually used my tranquilizer gun properly!

Also started playing .hack//GU again, because I remembered that I didn't beat volume 3, haha. I'm 23 hours in and I know it took me 30 hours each to finish the plot of the first two games. So... I guess I'm almost done? Unless they made this one longer. Or maybe I just spent a lot of time dicking around. WHO KNOWS.

Daaamn, I don't wanna go to work tomorrow. :( I have to print HCFAs and pull EOBs. ;_; Not fun, man. Actually... most stuff I do there isn't fun. :/ Bah, I'm going to be miserable either way.

I bought Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4, and Fatal Frame yesterday. Started playing Fatal Frame last night and it's a lot of fun so far.

I also had a bunch of different survival-horror dreams last night. Those were fun, too. Creepy but fun.

Helped clean the yard today. Pulled weeds, mostly. Not as agonizing as I thought it would be. The weather was really nice.

I'm pretty tired, but it's a good kind of tired. :3 I'm just happy I spent the day doing something productive.

I beat Musou Mode as Sun Shang Xiang and plan to use someone from Wei next, 'cause I want to unlock Zhang He and Zhen Ji.

I think he said earlier in the class that he was writing another novel. I bought two of his other novels and they were detective stories, so perhaps this new story is also a detective story, but with gaming. :0 I'm totally gonna buy it if it is. :D

(Only problem is that I read the prologue of one of the books and it was written awfully, imo. I need to read the rest and the sequel to see if his writing is more like, you know, a detective story than a history paper.)

Went to New Paltz over the weekend with Alyssa to visit Lauren. It was awesome times. Played video games and ate and slept, pretty much, haha. Bought Dynasty Warriors 4 at the local Gamestop 'cause I could. I wanted 5 but they didn't have it. I also considered getting 3 for the PS2 but as much as I love 3 apparently it's the worst in the series so... yeah, 4. Almost bought Prime 2 as well but I didn't want to spend too much and I'm far too content with Prime 1 to consider playing Prime 2.

Speaking of, beat Zero Mission while I was up there. 58% lol. The zero suit part was somewhat torturous but once I got my suit back I was extremely happy. Plasma Beam, you are glorious.

... oh God. I just got a strange urge to write Metroid fic where Samus' beams are personified. :(

Finally got Latios and Mesprit. Latios wasn't that bad, but Mesprit? I had to face it three times because I used up all my ultraballs the first time (about 40 of 'em). I restarted, bought some more ultraballs, faced it again, and used all my ultraballs again ('bout 60 this time). Then I got 90 ultraballs and decided if that didn't work I'd kill the damn thing and do a tradeback with someone. Used 85 ultraballs before I caught the bastard. Named it Douchebag because I haaaate it.

Anywho, went out with Lauren, her boyfriend, Alyssa, and Alyssa's sister. We went to the mall where I got a Zelda:OoT shirt, Zelda mints, an Invader Zim scarf, and an Invader Zim button. Oh, and I bought Portal because cousin Johnny failed me. Luckily it was only $9.99. And I didn't have to buy the whole Orange Box. Portal's installing now and hopefully it works. We shall see.

Anyway, after the mall we went bowling. Oh boy, that was fun times. It was karaoke night. :| We bowled like... four games? Just about? Theeeen Alyssa and sister went home and me, Lauren, and her boyfriend got ice cream. Aaaand now I'm at home and watching Mythbusters with my dad. 8D

I had started the game at around 1:00 PM on Sunday.

Passed my drivers ed final. I'm so happy it's over with. It was a bitch, waking up in the morning and thinking, "Shit, I have to drive today."

I dunno, driving doesn't do anything for me. :/ I mean, when I get my license, I'm sure I'll use it, but I'll probably only be driving to bookstores anyway.

Speaking of books, my new Nightrunner isn't here yet. ;_____; I waaaaant it.

One last thing: I got a crazy idea for a Fruits Basket fanfic that I really want to write. I'll try to write chapter one and then see if it's something I can handle. I mean, it has a plot. I hardly even know what a plot is. Oh, humor fic, how you corrupt me.

My first playthrough of a game I don't like using anything at all unless I get REALLY stuck- as in, "Oh for the love of God, I have been in this area for six fucking months. Where's the fucking statue?!" (That happened to me in Skies, lol.)

Subsequent playthroughs I use strategies and codes, because they don't matter in the end. First playthroughs are special to me and I never delete original files in video games. If there are other file slots, I play and delete those files as I please.

HOWEVER, some games I need a walkthrough or codes first playthrough because I'm a sissy. Basically I need one for Silent Hill. Ahaha.
