Yesterday was a good day. :)

I ordered a 1922 hardcover first edition of Eight Strokes of the Clock by Maurice Leblanc. Seller said it was in good condition. Some dog-eared pages and some stains but this thing's been around since the '20s so that is absolutely fine. I cannot wait for it to arrive~ x3

Also, I got a haircut yesterday!

And my buddy Maggie is home from college for the weekend and today we are getting lunch and having a Supernatural marathon. Should be fun times!

Tomorrow I am going to stop procrastinating for once and get my homework done so that Monday I can just go in a coma and do nothing. And by nothing I mean catch up on badfic. 8D

SCAFFU was fucking awesome.

First of all, there were people there! Besides me and Brad! Mike was there, and Andrew, and that other kid whose name might be James but I really can't remember, and there was a new girl but she wasn't the other new girl from last time. :D

The meeting started out as usual. Namely, "Hey guys, let's watch cartoons!" We watched an episode of KaBlam! and then Brad wanted to play the trailer for Crank 2, which led to us watching trailers for GI Joe and Dragonball. And then Mike was all, "Guys. Let's watch Repo! The Genetic Opera. I've watched it twice already 'cause it's that good!" So... we watched it.

Now, I had heard about Repo through fandomsecrets. I wasn't really interested in it, but hey, why not watch it? I usually like most movies I watch.

And guess what? I totally fell in love.

It certainly wasn't perfect but... oh God, it was good. The music was awesome. Some songs were... well, not that good or memorable, but I loved most of them. And duuude. Giles from Buffy. He was so amazing. And I loved that grave robber guy's voice. It was delicious. And there was very little Paris Hilton! Yayz.

Plot was unique, too. Basically, in the future, there are widespread organ failures. Evil Guy creates company that gives people organ transplants and if you miss your payments a repo man takes your organs back by force. Giles dude is a repo man. His daughter doesn't know and he tries to keep her from knowing. He keeps her from the outside world in general, really, and keeps her locked in her room. There is backstory about her mom which results in Evil Guy wanting to make the daughter his heir as part of some twisted revenge thing. Oh, and his kids are wackjobs so he doesn't want them inheriting his company. :P STUFF HAPPENS. AND THERE ARE FLYING ORGANS! DID I MENTION GILES IS AWESOME?

So, um, yeah. :D You should totes see it. The gore isn't that bad and GILES IS IN IT AND HE'S AWESOME.

Aaanyway, gotta finish my laundry. Maybe bed after that if I don't watch So Weird. Which I'm definitely going to watch now that I reminded myself about it.

Hey! I've got good news and better news!

Good news: They had strawberry yogurt at the fruit bar this morning. First time this semester! And believe me, after weeks of plain and vague-blueberry yogurt, strawberry was like the nectar of the gods.

Better news: I've decided that I hate my new roommate and am completely chill with it! I mean, I know what she's majoring in and I've told her to keep her smelly friends out of my goddamn bed so there's nothing else to say. AND I LOVE IT. No more trying to start conversations! No more wondering what the hell she likes! She is just another object in my room. I feel so liberated!

Anyway, finally got the other wire for the PS2, so maybe I'll start DW4 after Latin. :D And then HUG and Catholic Club are tonight. MAYBE I'LL CHILL IN THE GAME ROOM AFTER AND MAKE FRIENDS OR SOMETHING.
