So, GJ's officially gone. I heard that it would be gone a few weeks ago but I forgot when, haha.

I really miss the days of 2000 icons, y'know? I keep saving new icons hoping that perhaps someday LJ will increase the userpic limit or at least let people with plus accounts purchase more icons.

I mean, I've been researching and all the extra userpics you get with a paid account become inactive when you revert back to basic/plus.

Just think. You get a paid account for a month or two, and your account expires. All but 6 or 15 of your icons are inactive. You have to keep purchasing paid account to keep your other icons, or get a permanent account if they're selling.

I am not made of money. :( I know if you pay manually it's only $5 for two months, but that can add up. Especially if you also purchase extra icons and add-ons.

But honestly, I just want more userpics. I couldn't care less about the other features that come with a paid account. And during the userpage redesign fiasco, there had been rumors of plus-account icon purchasing. I know, just rumors, but still. :(

Anyway, probably gonna play some Melee or something before starting my Latin homework. See ya.

Y'know, as much as the new layout fills me with loathing, it gives me the warm fuzzies to see how everyone is uniting in their hate over at lj_design and news.
