Only thing is, the place is slow as a bitch when I'm trying to edit and it hates html. Either it eats my html or doesn't accept it. For example, my font is a darkish lavender when I snark. The html code for it is like CC99FF, something like that. GOOGLE DID NOT ACCEPT THAT. I had to go through the whole goddamn My Inner Life page and change all the codes to the word "purple." It took nearly three fucking hours. Also when I tried to make the font size bigger, some sentences got rearranged and I fixed as much as I could, but be warned that there might still be some sentences in the wrong order.

But yeah, all I could manage today was putting MIL and the footnotes up. I'll get to Skieloon next week. Also, I'm currently snarking another fic so when that's done with I'll post that on the site as well.

By the way, since googlesites is a giant bitch, perhaps someone can recommend a different free webhosting place that I can use? Not angelfire or tripod though, I hate their ad placement and from what I can tell you can't move the ads around (I could be wrong, though). Something that's a geocities clone, preferably. I really loved geocities. I could html anything without restrictions or slowdowns.

Well, I have a giant pile of Greek homework to do so I'm gonna get on that. See ya.

So, for NaNo the last thing I wrote was on Friday, like 500-something words (538, I think) bringing my total to like 6000-something. Aaaand I haven't touched it since GO ME

Saturday skyped with girlyarm for seven hours. Due to a lucky accident I recorded the whole thing. We pretty much snarked badfic and badfic authors the whole time. It was fun. <3

Sunday the roomie and I went into the city and saw an Off-Broadway performance of the Playboy of the Western World. Good times.

Monday my Latin professor didn't show up so no class, woohoo. Monday night went to the football stadium with my friend Kiera and her suitemates to see the meteor shower. Got extra credit for my astronomy class which was good. Kinda made up for the fact that I didn't see one damn meteor and Kiera saw two. Now we had gotten there at around 11:20 and left sometime between 12:15 and 1:00 and went back to Kiera's suite. We decided to wait until three in the morning then go back outside. We watched Fanboys, which is a glorious movie let me tell you, and it ended at around 2:30ish. We went back outside, stared at the sky for a bit, saw nothing, then Kiera and her friends decided to go to bed, so I walked back to my dorm. Got back at three, finished some homework, went outside at four, still didn't see any meteors. Then I went back inside and read a book for a bit before going to bed at five because I was bored. I had originally planned on staying up all night. Anywho, have class at nine on Tues so I set my alarm for seven to give me extra time to wake up and eat something substantial buuut I slept through my alarm. My internal alarm clock is magical, though, so I woke up on my own at 8:10.

The rest of Tuesday was ok. Exhausted all morning and afternoon but in the evening I was really awake. Also, I was gripped by a drawing frenzy and drew one of my NaNo characters and planned the color scheme for her and her outfit.

Today did things for Newman Club in between classes. We had a bake sale. :3 Other than that today was normal.

So. Um, yeah. Gonna watch some LPs maybe, study for my astronomy test tomorrow, then try to get to bed early.

Oh good God.

Yeah, didn't NaNo yesterday because I was watching Are You Afraid of the Dark? for six hours. Then today I got hit by a bout of apathy (which happens far too often than I am comfortable with) but I got over it in two hours which is really damn quick. But then I couldn't quite figure out what to write but I started a passage and hopefully I'll think of a way to finish it tomorrow.

Buuut the passage was like some horror novel type shit I don't even know. So, like, so far it's an action/adventure humor story with horror thrown in.

Well I was thinking of Stephen King before I started writing so it's not surprising. :/

Speaking of, maybe I'll read 'Salem's Lot or It or Rose Madder or something. I am in the mood.

Blargh. Had a bit of trouble today. The scene I was writing looked like I was trying to put a wacky webcomic into prose and failing. :/ Started writing a different scene that I can expand on tomorrow.

To be honest, I will be insanely pleased if I reach the 10,000 mark, haha.

Story still looks kinda pathetic but I found that if I kinda sorta try to write in a way reminiscent of Good Omens, it doesn't look too bad. I am probably going to make this humor anyway. It is already leaning in that direction, after all!

Well, I just noticed that I am really really hungry so I am going to nom on something now.

Typical, microsoft word decided to pick tonight to fucking explode. And my laptop had a hissy fit, too. Fuuuuck.

I'm doing it, guys! I'm doing NaNo! I've officially started and I refuse to turn back!

As of right now, my plot is basically, "Lol these two guys hate eachother's guts but they have to work together anyway let's see what shenanigans they get into." It's in a fantasy setting but there's like guns and shit maybe. I have no idea. I am making it up as I go. The guys are swordsmen and... I dunno what their job would technically be that they have to work together but WHATEVER RAAAH

All I know is that I am going to try to make this story as ridiculous as possible. Should be fun!
